Junichi Kajioka at Ema Keithel
We are glad to share that Kangla Facebook Group, Blooming Manipur, Soraren Repertory Theatre and Manipur Photography Society have organised an event on the morning of June 29th, where Junichi Kajioka shared his ‘respect’ and ‘caring' act to the historic Ema Keithel and Heingang Ching, the spiritual home of polo by planting flowers and Chingthrao trees.
Our special thanks to Rajeshwor Yumnam, the pioneering person behind the many discovery trekking for world war artifacts in Manipur and one of main person of the team that are organising events related to the same in the recent months , who have helped and facilitated in organising the event .
We wish to state that around 80 kind hearts of the above mentioned organisations joined the event along with R.K. Nimai, Commisioner of arts and culture , government of Manipur and Aribam Nimai Sharma, Chairperson , Imphal Municipal Council.
It has been Blooming Manipur’s aim and has been working within our available resources to transform our 700 year old Ema keithel into a blooming pride. We along with many kind people have been working on the same by planting Chingthrao/Bauhinia trees at Heingang Ching , the abode of Iputhou Marjing, the spiritual home of polo. We believe the flowers, plants and flowering trees can help in transforming this sacred and historic place and instil that vital sense of belongingness and responsibility.

We wish to consider that we have been very lucky that person like Junichi Kajioka being felicitated by many of his kind fans and well wishers, has helped in continuing the work in today’s glorious event.
The event concluded at Kangla Laiphamlen by seeking blessings for a bright and blooming future of Manipur.
We wish to share our gratitude and best wishes to Junichi Kajioka for his beautiful film, Imphal 1944 , which apart from highlighting the inspirational true story of a japanese war veteran who fought in Manipur seek to highlight Imphal as the platform for reconciliation .
We would be very grateful if you could consider publishing the news of the event and help to encourage many of your esteemed readers from the earnest and admirable ‘caring and respectful’ act of Junichi Kajioka and his many fans and well wishers .
