Jugeswar Centre for Retail Excellence (JCRE) is a premier Retail Management Institute in Guwahati, which will start its first batch in July 2011. JCRE is focused on retail education and training. We offer five courses, namely (1) MBA in Retail Management, (2) Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Management, (3) BBA in Retail Management, (4) Diploma in Visual Merchandising and (5) Certificate in Retail Management.

We are recruiting at the moment for the following positions:

(1) Faculty

Desired Profile: Candidate should have a MBA degree and have a teaching experience of general or retail management modules for the last 4-5 years. Additional work experience in retail industry will be preferred. The candidate should have the right attitude to work for a start-up educational institute.

Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, in-depth knowledge of specific modules of general or retail management modules.

Location: Guwahati

(2) Visual Merchandising (VM) Faculty

Desired Profile: Candidate should be a graduate with a degree or diploma in Fashion or Visual Merchandising (VM) with strong communication skills and inclination towards styling, fashion and creativity. Experience as a Visual Merchandiser of a retail company will be an added advantage. The recruited candidate will undergo VM training for 2 or 3 months in New Delhi, before the appointment in JCRE, Guwahati. The candidate should have the right attitude to work for a start-up educational institute.

Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, in-depth knowledge and experience of the subject.

(3) Visiting Faculty

Desired Profile: Candidate should be a graduate with 8-15 years of work experience in the retail industry or an MBA with 6-8 years of work experience in the retail industry. Preferably the candidate should be in the middle or senior management of the retail company. Retail industry professionals who are currently teaching management modules are also welcome to apply.

(3) Course Counselor:

Desired Profile: Candidate should be a graduate with 3-4 years of experience as a course counselor in a reputed educational institute. The candidate should have the right attitude to work for a start-up educational institute.

Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, Assamese and Hindi, pleasant presentation, in-depth practical knowledge and experience of course counseling.

(4) Receptionist:

Desired Profile: Candidate should be a graduate with 2-3 years of experience as a receptionist in a reputed educational institute. The candidate should have the right attitude to work for a start-up educational institute.

Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, Assamese and Hindi, pleasant presentation, practical knowledge and experience of being a receptionist.
