Subject : Exploration and recording in camera of the Archaeological Ruins on Narakaaxur or Narakasur Hills of Guwahati city.
Madam,
With due respect I wish to inform you about the exploration of the extensive Archaeological ruins we could find and capture in camera. I was planning an expedition to uncover and capture in camera the extensive Archaeological ruins I was hearing about from an elderly gentleman of our Uzanbazar locality, now deceased Late Prabhat Malla Barua. The expedition became a reality on the 19th of February 2017.
A five member team comprising myself, Mr Pradip Dewan, Mr Binoy Kumar Das, Mr Alexander Chakma and Mr Haren Das, undertook a complete exploration of the Narakaaxur or Narakasur hills starting from the hill located to the west of the Television Tower right up to its end in the Birubari area of Guwahati city.
