About the Book
Manipur, an erstwhile independent kingdom before merging into the political boundary of India in 1949 started its historical journey through several stages right from the Paleolithic period. During this long period of time, she was able to witness various characteristic features of changing phenomenon which laid a good foundation towards the establishment of a distinctive identity of her own. This book intends to give a historical approach of how the idea of nationhood was flourished in Manipur within a limited theoretical framework.
