Echo from the Shore
Okendro Khundongbam *
A busy crowed it is
a competition to the best it is
No one shows mercy
in their selfish frezenzy to win
Absorbed in duty
nobody raises a head,
but on payment
They help one another.
All the His Command.
To follow His words
They are sent,
no one reaps the toil in this hattle,
many have died, instead.
To me this nakes it a dream,
a dream though it is,
I've to dream,
all have to follow His command'
at his sight of the busy crowed
worried am I for the wasted time,
have I no time though
to ponder over for myself.
At the last moment of the command
nobody is found at sight,
to think of it shatters my heart.
I'm called often
by the sound of the waves
mingled with the echo from the shore
but can't go I beyond the barrier
