DM is only a year old and it is growing vigorously. During the past one year, it organized its widely accepted flagship program of Inspiration Episode (IE) Series involving 19 Manipuri luminaries to interact with more than 1000 youths and to morph them into future achievers. The luminaries were successful people in a wide array of fields: entrepreneurs like Dr. Thangjam Dhabali (Babina Diagnostics), Dr. Palin Khundongbam (Shija Hospitals), Thangjam Joykumar (Thangjam Agro Industries), S. Sharatchandra Singh (S. S. Electronics), Khagemba Sanabam (Marina Spring), Ragesh Keisham (CC Tea), Hanjabam Shubhra Devi (Meira Foods); Sportsperson like Mr. World Dr. Shantikumar Meetei; Public Servant like Armstrong Pame, IAS; Film personalities like Padmashri Syam Sharma, Lin Laishram and many more.
Besides, DM launched pioneering projects like the Startup Weekend Imphal, Organic Turmeric Farming (Kakching) and a few social health intervention activities.
The most encouraging development during DM’s venture during the past one year is the overwhelming support from individuals and organizations in the form of participants, collaborators, sponsors and print/online media houses. A number of local and foreign organizations (Korea, Canada, US) extended support as sponsors and endorsers.
Sincerely yours,
(Dr. N. Jiten Singh)
