Diploma in Advanced Software Development Methodologies (DASDM )
The Diploma in Advanced Software Development Methodologies (DASDM) course is targeted towards students who wish to venture into the domain of computing. The DASDM course aims to groom the students to enable them to work on current technology scenarios as well as prepare them to keep pace with the changing face of technology and the requirements of the growing IT industry. After the completion of the course, students can work as software developer, programmer, tester, System Analyst and the like, in the IT industry and associated service sectors.
Course Duration:
The DASDM course is of 12 months duration with the course syllabus being distributed in four terms.
Eligibility Criteria:
Graduates in Science (eg. BCA, B.Sc. or B.E/B.Tech. in Computer Science, IT and Electronics, etc) Graduates in Mathematics or allied areas (e.g. Statistics, Applied Mathematics) ŸGraduates in Physics or Computational Sciences / Graduates in Computing Ÿ The candidates must have secured a minimum of aggregate 50% marks in their examination.
Course Fees:
There is no Course fee for the candidates of North Eastern states of India. However, they need to pay Rs. 10,000/- plus taxes extra as applicable by Government of India towards the Admission fees.
How to Apply?
1. Visit the website www.cdac.in/NEdasdm
2. Click the link labelled register, fill the registration form and click Submit.
3. Click the login link and fill the application form and submit.
4. Upload a passport photo of size nearly 250x270 pixels.
5. Upload the certificates of the qualifying degree and domicile certificate (or any address proof acceptable by government).
6. View and Print the Application form.
6. Hall Ticket for the entrance examination shall be generated as per the schedule and can be downloaded using the link for Hall Ticket.
7. The entrance examination will be conducted on July 12, 2015 at C-DAC Centre, Silchar .
Syllabus for written Test:
Written test will be of objective type questions based on the following subjects.
Computing Awareness (20 questions), Functional English (20 questions), Mathematical Aptitude (40 questions) and Test of Reasoning (20 questions).
