Death: The Untold
Shongminthang Haokip *
Intellectual dubs him a silent killer
Vagrant regarded it annual merciless season
The frightful frigid morning of early January
Sucks helpless brethren blood to the ground
Responsibility of none, neither populace care
Their corpses are dump in the soil or rich culture
Land of constitution excluded for
Million sought justice for accidental incident
Though the periodic one omits once summer comes
Just unable to warm up the freezing body
Against the icy winter night with warm clothes
The bitter frosty season claims tens and hundreds
Of our down-and-out fellow lives every year
As the story is never heard in the bench.
