The opening act of the day will be 'Pendulum Swing', a mainstream band based in Manipur, which will be followed by our distinguished juries from Fubar Ghetto.
We have also arranged buses from Munirka, Satya Niketan, South Ex for students who want to witness this event.
This is for the first time, Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) is organizing a special event for the students hailing from the North-Eastern States.
As music flows in the blood of the people from this region, we have decided to explore it.
The Battle of the Bands is for current students of the University. But, if in a band of 5 members, 3 are from the North-East and currently studying in the University, they will be allowed to enter the competition (Keeping in mind that not all bands are solely North-Eastern). The competition will be open to all genres of music.
Each band will get a 30-minute slot where they have to play 3 songs including sound check. Cover songs will also be permitted.
Radio79 is our Radio partner and the winner will be featured on their channel. Also, the winner will get to perform at blueFROG Delhi.
