DESAM warns political parties seeking Ashab Uddin’s support

The Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) Tuesday alleged that Ashab Uddin, the independent candidate elected from Jiribam A/C in the recently concluded elections, was a non-local and called upon political parties not to include him in the formation of the new government.
If the political party forming the new government allows Ashab Uddin to be part of the government, the very party would be boycotted, the student pressure group warned.
