Current situation in Bangalore

Government of Manipur
I have received many enquiries from people from Manipur as to what is happening in Bengaluru or what is the scenario in Bangalore. Bangalore is peaceful very peaceful. There is no news of any violence whatsoever. However, what I learn is that an sms text message which threatens people from NE is unfortunately going around, and is causing undue worry and anxiety in the heart of people.
I am just back from a meeting organized by the DG Police of Government of Karnataka in which a large number of leaders from different religious backgrounds, student leaders from N.E.states and also a large number of media personnel were present. The religious leaders appealed to people of N.E. to stay where they are, and stay calm. They asserted they are peace loving, and always go out of their way to offer help when in need.
The student leaders from Manipur have met the Chief Minister and the Honble CM of Karnataka has stated that there is no untoward incident happening in this point of time, and has assured that they will make sure that law and order is maintained in the State.
The Government of Karnataka has provided help lines 080-22250999 and 9480801020.
I am available for any assistance and will soon give a contact number. Any Manipuri can feel free to contact me any time of the day or night on my mobile 08892236015
