Cry of a downtrodden State
Kh Dinamani *
I can't see again
The beauty, the natural beauty
The narratives of Sana Leibak Manipur
In my childhood days
I enjoy the beauty calmly togetherness
I am going to school with other fellow beings
On foot share talking & laughing etc
Now, I can see the roads improved
Considerably, the buildings, motor cars
Mobile phones.
But, I always feel anxious
For the modern age, why I couldn't
Feel anxious (anxiety).
I can't trust the foreigners check post Jiribam.
The khaki men checked & take & allow
To proceed the journey, the travellers
In the bus, Tata Sumos with old bag
& Old slippers, uneven face etc.
I can't bear the weight
Of the foreigners, Bangladeshis
I am crying at night
Crying & crying for greater Nagaland
The influence by Nagalanders
