National e-Symposium on Career and Employment concluded

RGU Commerce Department’s Two-Day National e-Symposium on Career and Employment concluded
Department of Commerce, Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh conducted two-day national e-symposium on the theme entitled as “Crafting Career Choices amid COVID Crisis: Approaches & Strategies” under the leadership and initiative of Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce.
This programme commenced on 17th August morning and concluded on 18th August 2020 afternoon. This programme was organized in collaboration with different cells and wings of RGU including Placement Cell, Career Counseling Cell, Centre of Entrepreneurship, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, NET Coaching Center, Training and Leadership Research Cell, National Service Scheme Cell, and RGU Students’ Union.
In this two-day e-symposium, total seven resource persons including two resource persons from the organizing institution, expert of their respective field delivered their presentation and deliberation through google meet platform.
The Programme was virtually inaugurated in the presence of Prof. Saket Kushwaha, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Tomo Riba, Registrar, Prof. Otem Padung, Head of Department of Commerce, Dr. Vinod Kumar Yadav, Coordinator and Organizing Secretary of eSymposium, Dr. Ravi Kumar Ranjan, Coordinator, eSymposium, Dr. Shashank Yadav, Joint-Coordinator, e-Symposium, Prof. Tasi Kaye, Incharge, Placement Cell and Dean, Faculty of Commerce & Management, Prof. Oken Lego, Coordinator, NET Coaching Centre & Dean, Faculty of Languages, Prof. Sumpam Tangjang, Dean of Students’ Welfare, and participants across the country and the world.
The valedictory session was attended by Prof. Amitava Mitra, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Otem Padung, Head of the Department of Commerce, Prof. Rama Chandra Parida, Director, IQAC, Prof. Sumpam Tangjang, DSW, and worthy organizing team members, and participants from diverse milieu.
This symposium was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Ravi Ranjan Kumar, Coordinator of the programme. This programme was excessively appreciated and admired by the participants.
The participants from eight northeastern states participated in this programme with great enthusiasm.
