INDIAN TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY CONGRESS (NE), is a non-political, non-commercial organization of Tourism academicians and policy makers. It is a regional part of Indian Tourism and Hospitality Congress (ITHC), India.
Why the International Tourism Conference at Myanmar?
Southeast Asia is composed of eleven countries of impressive diversity in religion, culture and history: Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. It is also one of the most dynamic areas of the world economically, a factor which largely accounts for its growing international significance of new age of Tourism, Technology and Trade. NE India is so backward and lagging behind in terms of global tourism & we have a very bright future as we can plan everything very safely and effectively in the midst of India’s Act East Policy. The present conference will take the path of said aspect and approach. The current conference will act as a host of such studies, which will give directions to the future Tourism in the region.
SUB-THEMATIC AREAS
In particular, conference will try to address on the following thematic areas:
o Tourism in the New-Age of India’s Act East Policy.
o SEA Countries: Impact on Socio-cultural & Historical Tourism of NE India.
o International Politico-Economic Relations: Through Tourism Development in NE India.
o Tourism Travel & Destination Management.
o Hospitality Industry in Tourism Marketing & Academics.

The conference is aimed at providing a meeting ground for the Intellectual and Professional experts/ resource base in Tourism. It welcomes for participation, all of the following:

CONTRIBUTION
Persons interested to participate in the conference are welcome to contribute their research papers/ research notes/ case studies/ brief research notes on the themes or related subjects with specific recommendations for discussions in technical sessions.
