A change Manipuri Comment on Mr L. Robindro "Status of Manipuris in Delhi" |
By: Dr. Yumnam Jayanta * |
The write-up of Mr L. Robindro "Status of Manipuris in Delhi" is excellent and touching my heart. Thank you and congratulation for writing such a real scenario. I am also a Manipuri, who has completed 14 years outside Manipur. Also I have seen most of city of India, meet and interact with different students (Manipuri or non Manipuri). And I am fully agreed with you. There are 1000s of Manipuri outside, hope all will agree with. I have some comments on this. These types of situations are more happen in such a places where more Manipur students are doing study or staying. Manipuri students do not respect each other and also never want to take good suggestion from seniors. Cooperation among us outside is very less in better productive way other than harmful way. Call for a meeting they will not come, but call for a drink, they will come (not all). There are many students who are spoiling the name of students in name of study. For examples, they did not done studies in time and taking 7yrs for a 3yrs B.Sc course. Most of time they are enjoying like prince and princes. They are simply giving burden to poor parents and unbalancing economy of the state. There lot of things that feels shame to write out in public. It is high time to understand by them. Asked yourself that whatever you are doing is useful to you, your parents, and your people or your country. We are just below 30s, what will be our future (remaining life) if we commit these types of things now. I have some suggestions. Some of these may be hard for others. A good group should be made to control this entire funny and dangerous act in respective cities. This group should have capacity to control over each individual. Responsibility of this group should be: 1. Arranging some meeting with those who has taken a wrong way. 2. Informing their parents. Asking for help from local police if they are acting funny. 3. Sending them back to home. 4. Helping and cooperating them, if they really need some helps. 5. Suggestion for proper dress (code) especially Gals . 6. Establish some worship and gathering places. 7. Open a question or suggestion forum, where the junior can asked suggestion from senior. It is not much late now. You can start changing yourself now. Take some time, make a good time table, recheck it and do as you decide to do. Have a habit of writing daily dairy and read weekly and check really HAVE you done a better thing for your tomorrow. My request to all Manipuri is “Pliz be understand your purpose of staying far from home. Your parents are waiting for you at home, they are missing you every moment”. LIVE for yourself, your parents, your people and your country. LOVE yourself, your parents, your people and your country. THINK, Plan where you want to be after a month, 1 year, 5 year, 10 years from now. I happy to know that in top 10 new developing state in whole India name of Nagaland, Meghalya and Tripura (Economic times) are there. Where goes MANIPUR Any junior require any suggestion in future planning, pliz feel free to write me Dr. Yumnam Jayanta, Ph.D Computer Sc.
