Chimney Pot
Part 1 - A Fanatical Preface
By Margarita Angomcha *
Hmm, ever since I was a child i always had this wish of installing a chimney pot in our kitchen.
Nevertheless, that was just a mere wish, which never came true.
First reason is that our kitchen was undoubtedly typical plus no one was keen about that mater. They simply listened to me as the blah blah of a child (that too the youngest one in the family). I still wish we really had one (sigh).
Well, now when I am a grown up girl (in fact going to bid adieu to girlhood soon), I still have these crazy dreams about chimney pots and fire-hearths in a typical tiny cottage.
Perhaps this is an ordinary dream, but for me this is the most extraordinary wish I have ever held on.
I questioned and still question myself many a times of why I have these kinds of stupid wishes, when in reality I can wish of so
many better things in life.
And there lies the climax of my crazy dreams. I can afford a chimney pot for myself (I could then afford too).
But perhaps I dont want to own one at all. Yes! this is very possible and can be true also.
Perhaps I am not keen to deflower my Virgin dream making it a reality.........
Perhaps I feel that I will have nothing to dream of once I own the same.
I believe everyone in fact has such kind of dreams in their lives and that is how the strings of human dreams hold on.
To be continued ...
(Coming up with more of Chimney Pot tales and alike later. Stay tune to e-pao. Greetings to the site)
