Translated English version of "Chatlo Ko O Bodo Echal"
Title – "Goodbye my Bodo Sister"
Goodbye my dear Bodo Sister.
We are holding back in the battlefield.
For the sacrifice you have made,
We shall continue to raise the Sword and Shield
Oh! How mercilessly were you killed
When you were fishing with your friend.
Your embrace shall continue to be felt;
Your voice shall echo in your land.
Wipe your tears, Oh Mother!
Your daughter has left the cruel world.
She must be among the flocking birds
With abundant freedom in her new world.
Forgive us Oh Bodo sister!
You laid your life for your fellows.
It is the kind-hearted nature of us;
This made you fed by the Crows.
Greetings, Oh Lainingthou Lord!
Do protect our sisters from those who greed.
Let the death of our Bodo sister
Wake up our people from the sleep.
To Freedom, To Freedom, To Freedom
