I would like to make an announcement on your site about the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2007. Student's can join IISc or few IITs for a two year Course for Master in Design through this exam. Want to become a web designer or an animation expert from the IIT's? Here's your answer. You can become one by getting a Masters degree in Design from institutes like IISc and IITs. Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing http://www.cpdm.iisc.ernet.in Indian Institute of Science Bangalore 560 012 Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay http://www.idc.iitb.ac.in Powai, Mumbai 400 076 Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi http://www.iitd.ac.in/center/iddc Hauz Khas, New Delhi 110 016 Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur http://www.iitk.ac.in/design Kanpur 208 016 Eligibility for appearing CEED All Qualifications must satisfy 10+2+4 years of study or higher. For M.Des. in Product Design and Engineering at IISc Bangalore -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Design or Architecture. For M.Des. in Industrial Design at IDC, IIT Bombay -Minimum 55% of marks are required in any of the following areas. -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent in any branch -Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent -Bachelor’s Degree in Design equivalent to B.Tech. -Interior Design Professional Diploma of CEPT (5 year programme) -Interior Design Degree (4 years) / Diploma (5 years) programme after 10+2 Professional Diploma of NID For M.Des. in Visual Communication at IDC, IIT Bombay Minimum 55% of marks are required in any of the following areas. -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent in any branch -Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent -Bachelor’s Degree in Design equivalent to B.Tech. -Interior Design Professional Diploma of CEPT (5 year programme) -Interior Design Degree (4 years) / Diploma (5 years) programme after 10+2 Professional Diploma of NID -BFA (professional course in Applied Art/ Fine Art) -GD Art (5 year professional programme) For M.Des. in Inter disciplinary Industrial Design Programme, IIT Delhi -Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering (any branch) or Architecture For M.Des in Design Programme in IIT Kanpur -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Design or Architecture.
