Kishalay Bhattacharjee is an investigative journalist and a conflict specialist who hails from the India's NE region. The Book called "Blood on my Hands" is the account of confessions made to him about extra-judicial killings and the author's analysis on how it threaten India's democracy.
This anonymous confession by an army officer splits wide open the anatomy of staged encounters in India's NE and J&K and explains how awards and citations are linked to a body count.
