Bin Laden 'was a sex machine'
- Hueiyen Lanpao Editorial :: June 13 2011 -
Osama bin Laden's first wife, Najwa has revealed that Bin Laden was a 'sex machine' who would stay with her in their bedroom for days on end. Najwa modestly terms these interludes as 'the sleeping time'.
We empathise with her, because however euphemistic may her language be, we understand she could hardly have slept a wink during 'the sleeping time'. But redoubtable as he was, Bin Laden it seems used herbal Viagra, at least as the US special force discovered it in his Abbotabad residence in Pakistan.
Anyway with Osama in Davy Jone's locker our attention now shifts to Najwa. Our questions are brief and pertinent. Did he brush and have a bath, and a change of clothes before he possessed the bed and whatever was on it? Did he indulge in sweet talk, did he take about his heinous deeds at office? Or was it just strict military drill?
Like Che Guevara, Bin Laden has grown into a cult figure after death, both were living legends in their life times, both suffered from serious ailments, both laid down their lives for the cause they espoused and both had an unexplained weakness for women. Having led lives choked with satisfaction, their iconic images now lure the youth in many countries to follow their grimy path.
Now back to that all alluring Osama bin Laden. With that kind of libido he is supposed to have possessed, how did he have the time to make battle strategies, tactical and strategic, and which came first the Kalashnikov or the prey on the bed? If US marines had rudely interrupted him and Najwa in a moment of a Viagra filled physical act and barked at him, 'if you wish to live, choose between Najwa and your Kalashnikov' would he have replied 'Najwanikov'.
Najwa is an unopened treasure box worth millions, probably billions. One hopes she does not sell out to the west who had declared her late husband 'Wanted, Dead or Alive'. If she wishes to tell her story, after all everybody has a story to tell, she can tell it to us, the people in the third world. If she blurts it will not be for the money, Osama made sure she was the owner of millions.
If newspaper reports are to be believed Bin Laden shaped and lived his life beyond normal expectations. Not an easy task to accomplish. And for Najwa, now without having to bear his burden, she should seek a floor space in whatever building is coming up to replace the World Trade Centre Twin Towers.
Let that sphinx like gaze and languid but indescribable hint of a smile keep tormenting the western world he aborrhed. He deserves a special place, after all he was the Mona Lisa of unadulterated terror.
