Shri Dr. Harmit Singh Pahuja, IAS, Deputy Commissioner launched the revamped bilingual official website of Ukhrul district on 24th August, 2018 at the Chamber of Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul. Shri Worngam Ningshen, IPS, SP Ukhrul, Shri R. Ragui, CO 6th MR Ukhrul, Shri Th. Chitrasen Singh, DIO NIC Ukhrul, Shri K. Modar Maring, ADIO NIC Ukhrul and many other DLOs and Staffs of the Mini-Secretariat attended the programme.

The website is developed based on Secure, Scalable and Sugamaya Website as a Service (S3WaaS) framework, a website generating and deployment product hosted on the National Cloud of NIC following the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW). It is a responsive design which is easily accessible through Smart Phones, Tablets and Desktop PC with easily configurable themes for visually exclusive presentation.
It has integrated search to enable easy discoverability of content. It is a bilingual site both in English and Manipuri. This website meets level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 lay down by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Information of the district and links for citizen services like Caste certificate, income certificate, birth certificate, death certificate, employment registration etc are available in the website.

The Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul also congratulated Shri Th. Chitrasen Singh, DIO NIC Ukhrul and Shri K. Modar Maring, ADIO NIC Ukhrul for their commendable job in bringing the district official bilingual website live and also instructed the respective departments to submit their departmental news and orders for uploading at the district website.
