Bianca Son (Mang Khan Cing), daughter of late Vum Son, passed away
Bianca Son (Mang Khan Cing), the elder daughter of late Vum Son, passed away on June 13, 2014. However, the details of her demise have not yet been made public, at least to this news.
Bianca, who was conferred Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London in 2013, wrote her thesis on “The Making of Zo: The Chin of Burma and the Lushai and Kuki of India through Colonial and Local Narratives, 1826-1988"

Bianca worked as Senior Teaching Fellow, Department of History, the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London when she passed away.
Mentioned may be made that Bianca’s father Vum Son, who earned his PhD in Geology in Germany, was the author of Zo History (The book is also accessible online at:
