Beauty, it is!
Sonia Oinam *
Your will, Your spadework ;
Dear God ! Of these lushgreen nature.
These serene lakes You've filled ;
Calm and still to be.
I walk pass and see my reflection,
I stay and stare for long.
Is it my image, is it a mirage?
I throw a stone to see !
Gently it waves away the stillness,
Waves away free of what I saw.
Slowly the ripples die out ;
And the calmness returns .
A drop falls deeply to break her ;
No, not to send ripples.
It has come , come to her;
To make her alive.
Drops and drops join and fall ;
Pouring, dancing joyfully with her.
All the reflections gone,
All the mirage gone.
There's none so valuable ;
There's none so truthful.
Like this beauty,
Your way Dear Lord! Descending on our hearts.
