Bangla’s Manipuri shooters feel at home

After becoming the first Bangladeshi Manipuri shooter to win a medal at the South Asian Games (SAG), Mahendra Kumar Singha is overwhelmed with the environment at the 12th edition of the SAG, simultaneously being held at Guwahati and Shillong. Along with the medal winner, Anjan Singha too echoed on the lines of organising more sporting events between Bangladesh and the Northeastern region of India.
“We are feeling absolutely at home. In Guwahati what we have felt is that all the people here and back in our country are almost the same. The food habits along with the way we look like and even the vehicles and roads. So I believe, more people to people contact can really be helpful in improving the relations between the two countries,” Mahendra Kumar Singha who won bronze medal in the 50m pistol team event said.
