BJP demands imposition of President rules in Manipur
A high power BJP delegates led by Shri Prakash Javadekar,MP, National spokesperson, BJP and who is also State election in-charge along with Shri Tapir Gao, National General Secretary, BJP, Shri P. Chandrasekhar, Zonal organizing Secretay, NE States, BJP, Shri Sh. Shantikumar Sharma, President, BJP Manipur Pradesh, Prof. S. Tikendra Singh, Vice- President, BJP, Manipur Pradesh and Shri S. Ibohal Singh, Vice- President, BJP, Manipur Pradesh meet his excellency the Governor of Manipur on today, the 9th. September, 2011 at 4pm at Raj Bhawan, Imphal.
The high power BJP team submit a memorandum to the Governor of Manipur regarding imposition of President rules in the state of Manipur.
Earlier, Shri Javadekar and National leaders of the party arrived here in Imphal by Indigo in the morning and participated a joint meeting of State office bearers and aspiring candidate for forthcoming Assembly election at Party head office, Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal.
After the meeting with the Governor of Manipur, Shri Javadekar and his team meet various opposition political parties leaders at Imphal Hotel regarding the formation of united opposition alliance in the state.
A core committee meeting of BJP also held at Hotel Imphal. In the meeting Party resolved to defeat congress and communist in the forthcoming election and the party is ready to render their helping hand to others like minded political party in the state. Shri Shyamo Singh, General Secretary of the Party stated that BJP, Manipur Pradesh will sacrifice maximum seat for alliance party.
Shri Javadekar and his team will opening of 3 days residential Mahila Morcha training camp at state party head office on tomorrow at 10:30 am. He will address a press meet on tomorrow at 2:30 pm.
The national leaders of the Party leaving Imphal on tomorrow at 5pm by Indian Airlines.
