Awareness programme on 'Co-operative Institutions in Manipur' on February 03, 2016
One day awareness programme on “Support from NABARD for strengthening the Co-operative Institutions in Manipur” was held on 3rd February 2016 at Manipur State Co-operative Bank Ltd (MSCB Ltd), conference hall located at MSCB Head Office at Assembly Road, Imphal. The function was held under the aegis of NABARD IMPHAL.
The Function was attended by Nabard Imphal, General Manager Shri Srivastava and Asst General Manager (Nabard) Rajkumar . Shri Ranjan Yumnam , Managing Director of MSCB Ltd and Shri Khwairakpam Khamba Singh, President of MSCB Ltd grace opening of the function. Various aspects of co-operative movements and its management functions along with support schemes undertaken by Nabard for co-operative societies were presented during the function by the dignitaries.

PACS ( Primary Agriculture Co-operative Society) and LAMPS ( Large Size Agriculture Multipurpose Co-operative Societies) members from across the state attended the one day program along with staffs and Managers of Manipur State Cooperative Bank Ltd.
Nabard, GM Srivastava stress on the need of strengthening the co-operative society movement in the state as per with other states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Maharastra.
