Assam Rifles rescues boy from trafficking

Troops of Assam Rifles at Khudengthabi post on Imphal-Moreh section of NH-39 rescued a 14-year boy from being handed over to an underground outfit with the detention of a woman who allegedly trafficked the boy to Moreh.
Indira Devi (35) wife of Tomba of Sagolband, Imphal was detained with the boy by Assam Rifles while proceeding to a Maruti van on Monday and handed over to Moreh police station on Tuesday, an official source said.
