Appetite for Commotions
Mayanglambam Sanahal *
Ring of hatred dwells in shadows
Relating arrogance to greed of land
Absorbed to their council of prejudice
The mighty harmony has been drawn to pit
This prize of failing love goes to blood
And the price of his fading connection did we owe.
Eighteen souls and eighteen hopes paid in death
For our generosity that glittered like miracle
For our humanity ablazed in servitude
Only to bury my war-torn nation
I can taste upheavals dominating the air
And the sick fate invading the young minds.
Anonymous fear walks the night
Strange agony fills the climate
Bitter pains rocked in the cradle of riots
In the heat of fury mourns our vengeance
Heavenly eyes witness our glory over their fever for war
Standing bravely our eighteen tombstones.
Gather your fire powers
Let none of our deaths give in to vain
Feed your anger with dark energy
Lock your horns and lock your eyes with the enemy
For this act of treason many breed a battlefield
Engage yourselves in constant appetite for commotions.
