National Association for the Blinds, India in Manipur is dedicated to the benevolence, charitable works, prevention, control & cure of
blindness and the alleviation of the suffering of visually impaired persons. It depends for sustenaces on public goodwill and voluntary contributions.
Our new Manipur State Branch of NAB, India is now planning to expend its activities in various directions at the grassroots level. But finds itself seriously
constraints for want of funds.
We therefore, appeal to the people of manipur and other regions to come forward and donate generously to the association. All the donations would be gratefully acknowledged. Contributions can be made by account payee cheques or drafts, payable to the National Association For The Blinds, India Manipur NE region at the state branch office at NAB House Namdunglong-imphal , or to its hony, president or treasurers or to Shri bijoy koijam, hon.vice-chairman, Manipur State Planning
Board, Govt. Of Manipur or Shri Dr. Rathi or Shri Dandia, Secy. NAB , mumbai.
Donation made to the state branch of the NAB, india are covered by 100% tax exemption concession in terms of 35ac of the india income income tax act, 1961. Every rupee of your contribution will be succesfully earmarked for welfare works of visually impaired persons and its a/c will be open to all and details will be publish in all newspapers.
At present, project identified to undertake is the recreational centre for the blinds student and youth at the blinds school, Takyelpat.
