Scholars Day
(28th February, 2009, Delhi)
We are organizing a one-day gathering of researchers, academicians and students from Manipur based in Delhi on the 28th of February, 2009. The event is organized with the objective of exchanging research development and ideas between all disciplines cutting across boundaries of Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities and Languages.
The gathering is aimed at not only to encourage interdisciplinary studies but also bridge the gap between various forms of 'inquiries', 'methodologies', 'perspectives' and 'knowledge production'. The need for organizing such a gathering was also prompted by the fact that there has not been such an interactions between all those engaged in research areas so far.
The gathering will consists of invited and submitted talks and the organizers invite individuals engaged in research activities and request them to send an abstract (about 300 words) to scholarsday2009(at)gmail(dot)com by the 31st of January, 2009. There will be a committee to select the best 16 abstracts from diverse disciplines and authors will be intimated by the 5th of February, 2009.
