Save Loktak Lake Campaign at India Gate, 29th November (Sunday), 2009

After the successful Nationwide Save Sangai Campaign in 2008, NECEER, Imphal is going to organise a campaign to promote conservation initiatives for the conservation of Loktak Lake at India Gate on 29th Nov. (Sunday) 2009 at 3pm.
The campaign will serve as a "trial campaign" before the mass Nationwide Save Loktak Lake Campaign next year ie 2010 which will coincide with the publication of NeBIO, first biological research journal from NE India.
* NeBIO Research Journal is a NeBIO is a peer reviewed quarterly journal published by North East Centre for Environmental Education and Research (NECEER), Imphal (Manipur). The journal is first of its kind in the country, which is mainly concerned with the conservation of biodiversity of North Eastern states of India.
