COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST (CLAT) ADMISSION TO UNDER-GRADUATE & POST-GRADUATE PROGRAMMES 2008-09 [At Seven Law Schools: NLSIU, Bangalore, NALSAR, Hyderabad, NLIU, Bhopal, NUJS, Kolkata, NLU, Jodhpur, HNLU, Raipur, GNLU, And Gandhinagar] Date of Common Law Admission Test: Sunday, 11th May, 2008 between 3&5 p.m. Indian Nationals seeking admission to the courses mentioned above must appear in CLAT. Foreign Nationals: Consult the websites of the respective Law Schools Under-graduate Programmes 1. Eligibility: 10+2 Examination or equivalent with not less than 50% marks (students taking qualifying examination in March / April 2008 are also eligible to apply) 2. Age Limit: 20 Years as on 1st July 2008 (For reserved Categories – refer to the information brochure) 3. Pattern : The test paper will consist of 5 Sections with objective type questions only Post-graduate Programmes (EXCEPT FOR NLU, JODHPUR) 1. Eligibility: Consult the information brochure Procedure for obtaining of application form and Submission Application will be issued from 31st January, 2008. Last date for sending the filled in application form along with the enclosures will be 10th April 2008. 1. Off-line: (1) Printed application forms along with the brochure will be available at the designated breaches of the corporation Bank and State Bank of India against the payment of Rs. 2000/- only (inclusive of test fee and bank charges). 2) Request for applications may be sent to the convener, CLAT, National Law School of India University, Bangalore- 560242, with a demand draft for Rs. 2,000/- drawn in favour of the Convener, CLAT, and payable at Bangalore. 3) Applications can also be downloaded from www.clat.ac.in. The downloaded application along with the DD and other enclosures should be sent to the convener, CLAT at the address mentioned above. 1. On-line: For online submission of application, visit www.clat.ac.in. The completed and printed online CLAT 2008 application form along with DD for Rs. 2,000/- drawn in favour of Convener, CLAT and payable at Bangalore along with other enclosures should be sent to the Convener, CLAT at the above address. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
