A pinch of sorrow
Cecil Thounaojam *
Alone and sad, looking for some happiness in life,
So as to add some fragrance of smiles.
Without happiness and smiles, life seemed so hollow.
Then, there always comes a moment in life,
When happiness hovers around all over.
Everybody has a got smiles,
No sign of sorrow for miles.
After some time, life seemed to be again missing out on its nature.
Deep down the throat, we always have a lump.
Sat down quitely, with some deep thoughts down the lane.
Left happiness in a corner and went out looking for some sadness.
It's beautiful.
Sorrows are beautiful.
Then so I realised,
Amidst the crowd of happiness
And in the dinner of joy,
If we have a wonderful tear down the cheeks,
That makes the complete dinner of life.
All we need, when only smiles surround is
Just A pinch of sorrow.
