A fictitious Diary Entry from a Canadian High School Student
- Part 4 -

I'm sorry I have not written or typed in a long while. A large cold came over me, and I have been bed-ridden since the last time I wrote.
But, after around 6 days or so, I have gained enough energy to type for a little while. Because of my illness, I have missed much of the meetings, but my father said that not much happened after that.
Even though I missed most of the conference, which my father and I are both sad I missed, he filled me in on what happened while I was gone.
My father recalled that there were many long, elegant balls that went on from the evening to the crisp of midnight, which he was sure I would have loved, but again, I was sick.
The council of leaders that were at the Charlottetown Conference has decided to wait a little bit of time to sort out the details, and that there was to be another meeting in a couple of months, but the date is not yet specified.
It is beginning to get dark, and my father and I are getting our bags packed, and will soon be on our way back to the Queen Victoria to bring us back home.
I honestly will miss this place (especially the really fancy hotel my father rented).
The people are so nice (as in the bellhops and assistants that bring gourmet cuisine to our room every night), and the sights are magnificent (well, what I really mean to say is that I love the large crystal chandelier that hangs in the ball room; well the ocean and parks are nice too, I think it's just that I prefer big shiny things made out of crystal than water and sand and grass).
To be continued..
