It isn't an unusual sight when we see new buildings coming up, a construction taking place somewhere, a machine producing a loud noise or a vehicle emitting dark smoke. Well if we take it in a positive manner then of course, it is a sign of development. But what lies underneath this fancy tag called "development", is the cause for more polluted environment.
In a state like Manipur, where development means a slow process, with the lack of facilities and feeble law on environmental issues, it is not surprising, that the once pleasant and nice weather have come to this drastic change that the temperature levels has suddenly rose. Now at this scenario, sudden illness, rise in the rate of numerous forms of cancer and other diseases is not surprising. We get exposed to many kinds of toxic substances every day.
May it be through the air, from the water or it can be from the food we eat. In fact, a lot of diseases these days come from the food we eat. That bright big red tomato that we see in the market may be the result of the hundreds of plant protection chemicals that must have been put into making it look that attractive. The result of which is the decrease of human life expectancy. Now the question arises, how do we protect ourselves from all these?
It has become very important that we know what we eat and drink. People these days in urban areas and metro cities are becoming more health conscious and are starting to follow strict dietary plans. In fact, in Manipur too, with the number of gyms coming up everywhere, it is pretty much clear that how people are starting to love their body and are taking up new measures to keep themselves healthy and fit.
One very important and useful product that has made its roots so strong is the CC Tea green tea by the Sui Generis Inc. which is becoming a pioneering initiative in today's pollution driven environment. It is unique in its own way because of it being a local product with a premium quality. Grown and nurtured under totally organic environment, this lemongrass green tea has many health benefits and medicinal properties.
We have all heard of antioxidants. They are also known as 'free radical scavengers' for their hampering power in the process of oxidation. The free radicals produced in the process of oxidation, when in high concentration can be hazardous to our body. It may lead to development of cancer and other health issues. Antioxidants play its role in neutralizing these free radicals in order to prevent them from damaging the cells.
Therefore, our body needs a good amount of intake of antioxidants. CC Tea is therefore a great source of antioxidants and flavonoids, which is known for inhibiting inflammation, preventing cancer and other cardio-vascular diseases. A regular intake of CC Tea in our system will help us cleanse our whole body and make it toxin free. CC Tea also helps in eliminating excess fat which is the result of the fast food habit of today's fast growing lifestyle.
This pleasant smelling, light and caffeine free green tea is also very useful for women. It regulates the monthly menstrual cycle in women and also provides relief from menstrual cramps, nausea, blotting, anaemia, stress and other health concerns during those days. One very important aspect about having CC Tea for women is that it is a natural stress booster.
Stress levels are much higher in women than compared to men these days, therefore, anxiety, insomnia and other such problems are becoming common among women these days. Lemongrass tea has been known for its stress relieving property and an effective anxiolytic natural remedy. It also has a calming property which works to re-educate the brain's sleep centre creating positive sleeping patterns and helping a variety of sleep disturbances which is common among more number of women than men.
Grown in a totally organic condition, the Sui Generis Inc. follows strict organic farming policies. The product is grown and processed without any use of pesticides, fertilizers, colouring agents, artificial flavours or other additives. The company is also working towards improving the productive capacity of the soil.
It is a product with many health benefits with no side-effects whatsoever, then why do we deny our body from getting addicted to it. Why use an expensive imported green tea which has only few benefits when we have our own, grown in our land of jewels.
