55th Nagas' Meet at New Delhi
Date : 16th November, 2018 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium -
The Naga Students’ Union, Delhi (NSUD) is organizing the 55th Nagas’ Meet under the theme, “Reminiscing the Glorious Past, Celebrating the Present and Hope for the Future” on 16th November, 2018 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.
The programme is essentially a Freshers’ welcome function cum cultural event with a motive to create a congenial atmosphere for the new entrants in the capital city and towards promoting the distinct and rich cultures of the Nagas.
The gathering will witness by many Nagas living in Delhi & NCR both students, seniors, church elders and working members who are pursuing their career in different profession.
The function will grace as Chief invitee by Shri Tongpang Ozukum, Hon’ble Minister Public Works Department, Govt. of Nagaland and Shri Sapu Bhattacharyya, Managing Director, NEC Energy Private Limited as Guest of Honour; Shri K. James VR. RTD. MFS, Managing Director’s NEREFS Ltd., NERHOFIC Ltd., NESEE and Mr. Gawang Hakhun, President Naga Students’ Federarion, Arunachal Pradesh as Chief Patron and Special Invitee respectively.
The President NSUD, Luikang Bruce stated, “significantly an annual biggest event for NSUD and inviting all the Nagas living in Delhi & NCR and with the sole intention of the programme is to convey a message of oneness among all groups of people and also to protect and promote our rich culture rather than being influence by other cultures”.
It is a one day long event that comprises of music, fashion, food and momentously acknowledging the Nagas who are exceedingly doing well in various field and it will provide a platform for young Naga artiste to showcase their talents.
