1st Manipur Statehood Day Women's Polo Tournament with USPA team :: 21st January 2016 :: Pix - Deepak Oinam
The 2nd Manipur Statehood Day Women Polo Tournament will kick start from 17th January to 21st January, 2017 at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal. It was decided in an Organizing Committee’s meeting held at CM Secretariat. The Chief Minister Shri O. Ibobi Singh chaired the meeting.
The Organizing Committee’s meeting also decided to constitute seven Sub-Committees with the respective conveners.
The seven Sub-Committee’s are
Technical Sub-Committee (Match and Stable),
Ground Sub-Committee,
Souvenir Sub Committee,
Publicity and Advertisement Sub-Committee,
Liaison Sub-Committee, Medical and
Veterinary Sub-Committee and Reception Sub-Committee
and the conveners are Shri M. Khelendro, member AMPA, N. Philip, Secretary AMPA, Dr. R.K. Nimai Singh, IAS(Retd) Consultant to the Government of Manipur, Ms. Daryal Juli Anal, Deputy Director (Tourism) Manipur, H. Chaoba Singh, Director, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry and Dr. K. Sarat Singh respectively.
The meeting also decided to invite Chief Minister Shri O. Ibobi Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Gaikhangam for gracing the opening ceremony as Chief Guest and President. The governor of Manipur, Dr, Najma Heptullah and Shri O. Ibobi Singh will decorate as Chief guest and President respectively in the closing ceremony of the 2nd Manipur Statehood Day Women’s Polo Tournament 2017.
It is worth to mention that DIPR will fix for coordination with the media and wide publicity for the event too, the meeting further resolved.
