25 trains cancelled for fog
The Telegraph | Guwahati, Jan. 7:
The Northeast Frontier Railway has cancelled 25 trains between tomorrow and January 28 because of dense fog in north India. NFR public relations officer Nripen Bhattacharyya today said the railways were left with no option other than cancel certain trains as dense fog in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar had upset the schedule of long-distance trains.
He said from tomorrow till January 28, the Dibrugarh-Delhi Rajdhani Express will stand cancelled on Wednesdays and the Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express on Mondays. The Guwahati-Delhi Northeast Express has been cancelled on Tuesdays and Saturdays and the Delhi-Guwahati Northeast Express on Mondays and Thursdays.
