20th Zeliangrong Bangalore Event on 19th August, 2017 at Christ School, Bangalore
We the Zeliangrong Students’ Union Bangalore is so thrill to update on the 20th Zeliangrong Bangalore Event held on 19th August, 2017 at Christ School, Bangalore which is a combination of ZSUB Foundation Day, Fresher’s Meet and Zeliangrong Cultural Night.
Today, we are proud to announce that we have made history in Bangalore for the first time with the presence of our Honourable Minister for Transport, Karnataka Shri Ramalinga Reddy, Honourable MLA Shri Samuel Jendai and Respected IAS Officer Shri Armstrong Pame, DC Tml., Manipur on the event.
The event was executed successfully and all those who turned up for the event was inspired by a very motivating speech from the Honourable Minister for Transport Shri Ramalinga Reddy while our Honourable MLA Shri Samuel Jendai delivered a very inspiring and powerful message to the Zeliangrong people in Bangalore challenging the people under the theme “Celebrating Our Legacy and Empowering Our Future.” Our respected IAS Officer Shri Armstrong Pame was an inspiration and example to many people through his own life experiences that were shared with us and being a proactive administrator wherever he is deputed.
We the organizing committee wanted to express sincere thanks to everyone for making this event a grand success. The following are some of the remarkable moment that has entered into the history of ZSUB from this celebration:
o For the first time ever in 20 years, our Honourable MLA Shri Samuel Jendai and respected IAS Officer Shri Armstrong Pame, DC Tml., Manipur have made history by visiting Bangalore and attended the event as Chief Guests.
o For the first time ever, we have Karnataka Minister attending the event as Guest of Honour.
o For the first time ever on Zeliangrong event, we have many communities from Karnataka and Northeast joining hands to promote our unity in diversity by attending and participating on the auspicious day.
How good it is to see our brothers and sisters working together for fraternity and unity of our societies here in Bangalore irrespective of states. I could not end this message without disclosing the names of the organization sharing the happiness of our Zeliangrong people in Bangalore.

Manipuri Meitei Association Bangalore (MMAB), etc.
Many have performed their cultural dance and also extended their support in the form volunteers despite of their busy schedules.
All the exciting and inspirational activities from the event, their presence and their powerful speeches bring lights, hopes and courage to our people and every attendee was inspired and blessed.
