15 days judicial remand to 11 JCILPS members
Nagaland Post | Imphal, Sep 16:
Even as the government had assured unconditional release of all the arrested members of the agitating Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) on or before September 19, 11 of them were handed 15 days further judicial remand after producing them in a local court here Tuesday.
Noting the development seriously, the JCILPS, in a statement threatened that any untoward incident arising out of the “irresponsible act” of the police, the state government would be held responsible.
