(Haiguing Kuame and Dr. Aniruddha Babar with Tikhir people and Tikhir Tribal Leaders at Anatongre Village, Kiphire District, Nagaland during their epic Frontier Nagaland Motorcycle Expedition which they fondly call - A Grand Voyage Of Awakening

At the crack of dawn on December 4th, 2022, Dr. Aniruddha Babar, a Professor, Lawyer and veteran Adventurer, along with his devoted disciple Haiguing Kuame, a diligent student of Political Science, embarked on an extraordinary motorcycle expedition to the unknown territories of Frontier Nagaland. Their purpose was to actively engage with the tribal leaders, esteemed elders, and community members of each tribe residing in Frontier Nagaland.

Their aim was to deeply comprehend the fundamental issues, perspectives, and challenges faced by the Frontier Naga people, while also meticulously documenting the grassroots reality of the region. They sought to raise awareness about the Constitutional and Legal Rights of the indigenous population of the Frontier Nagaland and expressed their unwavering, proactive support for the “Frontier Nagaland Movement” which they understand as - A movement to claim the ‘lost’ Constitutional Rights of oppressed people.

Setting off from Burma Camp in Dimapur, the duo embarked on their intrepid journey, venturing through diverse destinations. Their initial destination was the land of Mon, where they had the privilege of meeting the brave and courageous Konyak tribe, known for their rich heritage. Continuing their expedition, they proceeded to Longleng, where they engaged with the friendly and curious Phom tribe, known for their distinct cultural practices.

From Longleng, their path led them to Tuensang, where they interacted with the resilient and persistent Chang tribe, renowned for their vibrant traditions. Moving forward, they arrived in Noklak, where they embraced the warm hospitality of the inquisitive and happy Khiamniungan tribe, known for their unique customs and language. Further on their route, they reached Shamator, where they exchanged ideas and experiences with the spirited Yimkhuings, a tribe known for their close-knit community and tiger spirit.

Their journey continued to Anatongre, a place where they encountered the ‘awakened’ Tikhirs, a tribe distinguished by their rich history. Finally, they arrived in Kiphire, where they were greeted by the ever enthusiastic and determined Sangtam tribe, known for their unwavering spirit. With the completion of their epic exploration, they embarked on the ‘eventful’ journey back to Dimapur, thereby concluding their remarkable adventure, which etched an immortal mark in the annals of Frontier Nagaland's history.

“.....FINALLY, WE realized, Frontier Nagaland is already born-in the mountains, in the jungles, in the fields, in the rivers, in the air, in the sky, in the rain, in the storm, in the light, in the darkness, in the fragrance of Eastern Nagaland. We realized, Frontier Nagaland is already born in the spirit and conscience of every Eastern Naga. They are eager to build new world- they are eager to write their own chapter in the glorious history of this grand nation. They want to build new India. WE ARE THE WITNESS”.... (Expedition Log entry, by Dr. Aniruddha Babar, Dated 11th December, 2022, Kiphire, Nagaland, INDIA)

"Roaring through the Frontier”
Dr. Aniruddha Babar

In the land of Frontier Nagaland, wild and untamed,
Dr. Aniruddha and Haiguing rode, their spirits unchained,
On their motorcycles, roaring with power and might,
They embarked on adventures, fearless day and night.

Through rugged terrains and treacherous trails they sped,
With hearts full of courage, no challenge left unled,
Across the valleys and mountains, they fearlessly roamed,
Their souls alight, in this land they called their ‘own’.

Dr. Aniruddha, the leader, with wisdom and grace,
Guided Haiguing, his disciple, to embrace the chase,
Together they faced dangers, tested their limits true,
In the depths of Frontier Nagaland, where few dare to pursue.

Through thick jungles and winding roads they traversed,
Facing nature's obstacles, undeterred and unrehearsed,
They braved the elements, the rain and the storm,
Their spirits undimmed, as they conquered each norm.

The landscapes unfolded, like paintings come alive,
As they explored the ‘darker’ mysteries, seeking thrills to revive,
The dangerous motorcycle adventures they sought,
A testament to their passion, their spirits never caught.

In Frontier Nagaland's plight as the riders saw with a clear sight,
Seeking justice with all their might.
Voices rise, hopes ignite,
Hand in Hand with Frontier Naga people's Constitutional and peaceful fight.

In the realm of Frontier Nagaland's quest,
The adventurer duo’s plea for justice resonates, manifest.
For the people of the land, so long oppressed,
Their voices rise, demanding what is best.
With unwavering spirit, Frontier Nagas stand united,
Seeking equality, their rights ignited.
In the pursuit of justice, they persist,
Frontier Naga people, their cause that Dr Aniruddha and Haiguing hold dear, insists.

In the darkest depths and days of Frontier Nagaland, a bond was formed,
Between Dr. Aniruddha and Haiguing- in the land of oppressed, their spirits transformed,
Their stories echoing through the valleys and the hills,
As legends of bravery, their motorcycle adventures instill.

So raise a toast to their journeys, their fearless rides,
In the Frontier Nagaland, where adventure resides,
Dr. Aniruddha and Haiguing, forever they'll be,
The fearless riders of danger, in the land of the wise and free.
