NSCN (IM) accuses AR of attempting to ‘derail peace process’
Morung Express | Dimapur, May 29 (MExN):
The NSCN (IM) today accused the Assam Rifles of “deliberate attempt to derail the peace process” and stated that the “tolerance of Naga Army, while honoring the peace initiative in search of solution and peace between the Naga People and the Union of India, when tested to the extreme, could result in negative impacts to the common quest for a solution.”
The NSCN (IM) stated that the recent conduct of 23rd Assam Rifles which has been alleged to have used “natives as human shields to raid the NSCN Camp stationed in Rongmei village, Tazeikaiphun on May 24, 2018” was “nothing but a repetition of Assam Rifles several records of the despicable actions of the Indian military act of cowardice while maneuvering for their next rank.”
