Zeliang rejects help on Dzukou

The Nagaland government has rejected its Manipur counterpart's proposal to resolve the land dispute in Dzukou Valley with the intervention of the Centre.
Nagaland chief minister T.R. Zeliang today asked the Manipur government not to interfere in the internal dispute of two Naga communities rebutting the statement made by Manipur deputy chief minister Gaikhangam that they will approach the Centre to resolve claims of ownership over Dzukou Valley. Zeliang said it is an issue between two Naga communities and should be resolved amicably according to customary practices.
