Research positions at NEHU, Shillong

Applications arc invited from Indian nationals for the following purely project-based temporary positions for the ICSSR sponsored Short-term Empirical Research Project (Collaborative) entitled "A Sociological Study of Digitalisation on the Select Areas of North-east India".

1. Research Associate (1 post)
Duration 5 months
Honorarium Rs. 40,000/- p.m.
Qualification Post-graduate in any social science discipline with minimum 55% marks and NET/SLET/M.Phil/PhD
Desirable Candidates with good proficiency in English and computer knowledge will be preferred.

2. Field Investigator (4 posts)
Duration 2.5 months
Honorarium Rs. 30,000/- p.m.
Qualification : Post-graduate in any social science discipline with minimum 55 % marks Desirable Since the field work will be conducted in the states of Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura, candidates from these states shall be preferred.
