Higher-On Maiden Performing Live at Imphal
The Official Tribute band of Iron Maiden will be performing at BOAT, Imphal.


The event will be managed by Oriental pumpkin, an event management group based in Imphal. The objective behind this tour is to build a bridge for North East bands to interact, share ideas and take support from International Bands towards the global music scene as well as to bring world class shows to the North East Music Fans. The band is supposed to provide thrilling experience to the crowd by covering hit numbers from Iron Maiden. GoManipur is the official media partner for the show.

Ticket is priced at Rs.300 and would be available at Shine Travels (Chingmeirong Stadium Road), Tweety Collection (Checkon), Big Chill Foodies (North AOC) and A-Z Café, Tiddim Road.

Rk. James, Director, Oriental Pumpkin Events & Communication appeals to the people to support such International Event in Manipur and not to call any Bandh or General strike on this day.

Rock band from United Kingdom, Higher on Maiden, the sister band of the legendary Iron Maiden will perform on Ukhrul on December 13 as a part of the Seven Sisters Winter Rock Tour organized by the Seven Sisters Entertainment Group, Delhi.

In a press conference held at the conference hall of Fusion Restaurant Ukhrul, the CEO of Mizim Production which sponsored the Ukhrul leg of the tour, Ernest Shimrah said the contract amount with the international rock band is pre-paid and has been taken care of by the Seven Sisters Entertainment Group.

The Seven Sisters Winter Rock Tour featuring the higher on Maiden along with some other prominent Indian bands will touch almost all the major towns of north eastern states during December starting its leg from Manipur's north eastern town Ukhrul.

Ernest Shimrah said that they are expecting audience of more than 5000 strong crowds during its Ukhrul show which have 'down to earth' ticket price of just Rs.299 . On query by journalist about security measures, the CEO said District administration will be incharge of security measures.

He further said that the Superintendent of Police of Ukhrul has assured of security measures. In Manipur the international band will perform at Ukhrul and Imphal.

At Ukhrul the event management is to be looked after by Mizim Production and will perform open air at TNL Ground whereas at Imphal the event management will be looked after by Oriental pumpkin.

Higher on Maiden has its debut last year at Shillong. This year will be the second year to perform in North East India. Whereas the band will be performing in Manipur for the first time.
