Rock 4 Life is a compilation of specially written, composed and recorded songs by 8 of the more creative bands in the NE namely

• Soulmate (Shillong),
• Digital Suicide (Guwahati),
• Scavenger Project (Aizawl),
• Recycle (Imphal),
• Alive (Gangtok),
• Native Rising (Dimapur),
• Horjwlai (Agartala) &
• Alien Gods (Itanagar).

The songs have been written with special emphasis on sensitising the general public especially young people to be aware of the social stigma against HIV/AIDS.

The CD will be released on December 1 2009 in Shillong @ a specially designed concert with all the 8 bands performing. The Bands chosen, the album recording and the concert has been put together by Springboard Surprises .
