Topic: Imprint of the early universe on cosmological observations
Prof. Pravabati Chingangbam
Indian Institute of Astrophysics
Bangalore – 560034, India
The history of the physical events that occurred in the universe is encoded in the cosmological relics such as the cosmic microwave background radiation and the large scale structure seen in the distribution of galaxies. Observations of these relics have been made with ever increasing precision and resolution during the past few decades. The speaker will give an overview of how these observations have shaped our understanding of the universe.
