ADVERTISEMENT FOR DST-SERB PROJECT’S JRF POSITION
Applications are invited for the appointment of the following position of the Department of Science and Technology (DST)-SERB sponsored major research project entitled “Study on the effect of Long Term Excessive Zn Supplementation on Gene Expression of antioxidant enzymes in wistar rats and their F1- generation rats.” Interested candidates may submit soft copies of the application along with the supporting documents including complete CV, experiences certificates and testimonials etc. so as to reach the undersigned on or before 20th January, 2018.
Project Fellow – One (01) post.
Eligibility: M.Sc. in Zoology/Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry
(Project fellow emoluments shall be as per SERB guidelines).
The candidates with the knowledge of molecular biology techniques, background on Animal physiology/Biochemistry, research experiences in handling of small animals and desirous to continue for PhD degree is preferable.
General Terms and Conditions:
1. The duration of the project is 2 years. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the completion of the project or till satisfactory progress of the candidate.
2. The PI reserves the right to shortlist suitable candidates. Only the shortlist candidates will be called for interview via email/or phone.
3. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
