dzükou tribal kitchen’ in its new avatar has opened up away from the recently congested lanes of Hauz Khas Village to the Hauz Khas Main market, with plenty of parking space (for cars and you)!
Our hospitality and ambience guarantees you a taste of the Dzükou Valley in Nagaland - known for its clear cold water and picturesque peaceful landscapes.
Starting with what we do best, which is authentic food with authentic ingredients from Nagaland, we’ll tone down the chilies and conjure up a meal for vegetarians too! But for the die-hard adventurous foodie – we’ll give you the real stuff – pork in bamboo shoot, chilly fillet, smoked pork akhuni, dry fish chutney, wild sticky rice and much, much more!
And very soon we will start introducing new dishes and cuisines from the other 7 states of the Northeast. We’re also working on introducing a range of desserts to complement our menu, this will take a little time as our region is not known for its desserts and we’re experimenting with new tastes and ingredients to come up with just the right sweetness for you!
Our Bar is also ready, and we have masks where our bottles should be, because we’re waiting for our license which we hope to have in time to serve you very cold beer, to beat the peak of the summer heat in June!
In the meantime, come along and enjoy a lovely meal! A cup of refreshing green tea or fresh lime with our starters! There’s something for everyone, all taste buds and ages!
