Imphal, May17 2009: Referring to the incident of shooting of 4-5 rounds of bullets in the evening 7.30 pm of May 14 last by some unidentified gunmen at Meitram Awang Leikai, the Beneficial Club, the villagers and Meirapaibi lup of Meitram appealed to all related groups not to let such unwanted incidents happen again in future.

The statement also appealed to all related authorities not to fire bullets in densely populated residential areas and not to worsen the condition of people who are already fear stricken.
